Hours: 9:30 pm – 6:30 am

Salary:

$15/hour for singleton

$17/hour for twins

$20/hour for triplets

You will receive a paycheck from Nocturnal Nannies, LLC. All federal and state taxes will be withheld.

Job Description: A Nocturnal Nanny is expected to arrive at a client's home promptly at 9:30 pm and is expected to be relieved promptly at 6:30 am.

While in the client's home you, the nanny, are expected to perform the following duties:
•  Feed the babies via a bottle of formula or breast milk, or bring them to Mom to breast-feed.
•  If Mom is pumping breast milk, bring her a glass of ice water and wake her to pump when the babies feed
•  Burp the babies
•  Change the babies diaper at every feed
•  Swaddle the baby
•  Sterilize all bottles, pacifiers and pumping equipment
•  Prepare enough formula (if being used) for the next day
•  Run and empty (quietly) dishwasher
•  Run and fold baby laundry
•  Empty diaper bins
•  Empty trash bins
•  Refill anything that is empty (wipes, diapers, paper towels etc.)
•  Organize changing table or dresser drawers if need be
•  Use minimal light while in the house

Also while in the client's home you may eat or drink their food, but please be courteous enough not to finish anything or open any packages.

You also may take a cat nap if the babies are settled and not crying. (We will ask the client to provide a blanket and pillow for you.)

Things you cannot do while in the house:
•  Talk on your cell phone. (Please put ringer on vibrate and take only emergency calls quietly)
•  Smoke
•  Drink alcohol
•  Do or bring any drugs into the home
•  Watch T.V.
•  Listen to music
•  Take care of older siblings
•  Walk or feed any animals
